Vang Vieng

Our time in Vang Vieng was spectacular to say the least and so is best described by photos.  I’ll keep my written description short: In this fabulous town we kayaked down the famous (and recently infamous thanks to drunk people tubing) Nam Song River and stopped in at a bar to drink some moonshine-type stuff, walked through rice paddies, went tubing through caves and rode through the countryside in an attempt to find a cave but only got very lost in a maze of rice paddies and cow paddocks.  Vang Vieng was my favourite place in Laos, and a few glimpses at these photos should explain why.
